Hi from Giovannella!

My cooking is the result of a family passion passed down from my mother, my grandmother, and shaped by the experiences and places that have been part of my life. I love cooking with seasonal, local products, and whenever possible, ingredients from my own garden. I enjoy growing and using aromatic herbs, transforming fruit into unique and healthy jams, as well as creating traditional liqueurs. My cuisine is typical of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, as a Neapolitan transplanted to Puglia, with Sicilian and Campanian grandmothers and a Pugliese mother-in-law. I love French cuisine and exploring “fusion” experiences that blend Southern Italian and international flavors.

Giovanna was an amazing host, chef and all round lovely woman. Her assistant Maria was so helpful. My partner and I had an amazing time making the pasta and tiramisu and an even better time eating it all. Would recommend to everyone within the Alberbello area that has an interest in authentic Italian food.

Wir hatten sooo ein tolles Erlebnis mit Giovannella! Es hätte nicht schöner sein können. Giovannella ist so eine herzliche Person und auch die Kommunikation war perfekt. Ganz grosse Empfehlung! Auf dem Markt haben wir viel Neues gelernt und jede Menge probiert. Was für ein Spass! Danach haben wir in ihrer schönen Masseria die Nudeln selbst gemacht und mit einer wunderbaren Sauce gegessen. Dazu gab es jede Menge Appetizer und den perfekten Nachtisch. Wir wurden sehr verwöhnt und werden diesen Tag nie vergessen. Vielen lieben Dank Giovannella! 🫶

Giovannella è stata davvero accogliente e ha reso questo corso davvero speciale. Si vedeva che ama trasmettere la tradizione culinaria agli altri. Anche la posizione è fantastica e, nonostante non sia facilmente raggiungibile con i mezzi pubblici, Giovannella è stata incredibilmente disponibile e mi ha persino accompagnato alla stazione!
