Hands-on cooking class with starter, pasta and dessert

Welcome to my country home. Our program will include the preparation of three recipes: an appetizer, a fresh pasta dish and a dessert, followed by a delicious three-course menu with the dishes you will have prepared. We will begin our culinary journey with a traditional platter of cold cuts and cheeses, accompanied by homemade jams made from the fruits of my plants. Then, we will try our hand at preparing local lentils with homemade sausages, a dish that captures the essence of our traditions. Next, we will literally put our hands to pasta to create Strengozzi, a fresh pasta typical of holiday Sundays, accompanied by local truffles. To end on a sweet note, we will make tiramisu together.

What a wonderful day we got to spend with Claudia and Francesco. I learned many things about Italian food preparation and then to have lunch at their kitchen table was so perfect. Their hospitality, kindness and love for good healthy food is unsurpassed! I highly recommend this experience.

We hebben een geweldige avond gehad bij Claudia en haar man Francesco. We voelden ons heel welkom. We hebben heerlijke lokale gerechten gemaakt. We kregen duidelijke uitleg en ook veel informatie eromheen. Na het koken stond de gezellig gedekte tafel al klaar en hadden we met elkaar een voortreffelijk diner. Tijdens de maaltijd werd er gezellig gekletst en we kregen ook nog tips voor restaurants in de buurt. Het was een hele leuke avond waar we met plezier op terugkijken!

We had a wonderful cooking class with Claudia. She was a great instructor and we successfully made some great pastas and tiramisu! It was perfectly hands on. My wife (Peggy) and I took a cooking class at Claudia home which is located in one of the farm houses. The setting was beautiful as we were invited into Claudia and Francisco's home for dinner. Claudia showed us how to make the pasta with truffle and tiramisu. We had a wonderful experience making those two dishes with Claudia while Claudia's husband taking pictures for us during the entire class. Claudia and Francisco are super friendly. I highly recommend Claudia's cooking class since we had such a positive experience. We can see ourselves taking another class from her in the near future (within this year). Sam

Sorry it took me so long to write this review but being gone for six week and returning with a cold we are just regaining normalcy, and honestly, I am at a loss for words! It was the most amazing highlight of our trip to Italy. We were fortunate enough to have three classes with Claudia and Francesco over three weeks. They opened their home and their hearts to us, and it was like being with cherished family. Learning to make Italian food in their home was a refresher course for me having grown up with Italian parents, but it was a way for my husband to learn how to make some Italian dishes that he would never allow me to teach him. It was so much fun cooking together, then especially enjoying the fruits of our labor with good food, conversation and a reminder of the Italian Culture I grew up with love.
