    In my kitchen I will guide you on an authentic journey into the flavors of Parma, between tradition and passion. You will learn how to prepare family recipes, such as tortelli di erbetta or potato tortelli with soffritto, egg noodles, potato gnocchi, creamy risottos and fragrant sauces. We will end with a typical Parmesan dessert or an irresistible homemade tiramisu. A genuine cooking class, immersed in the cool pine forest of the Apennines in the heart of Emilia, to discover true homemade Parmesan cuisine.

    Today I had the wonderful experience of learning to cook at Catia’s home. I have a lot of experience with Asian cuisine, but this was my first time stepping into an Italian home kitchen. Catia pays great attention to detail, and her explanations and demonstrations were very clear. Whether you’re looking for a meaningful experience or hoping to refine your cooking skills, learning with Catia is the best choice.

    My aunt and me booked the food-tour very spontaneously. We were already happy with the good communication in advance. We then met Catia and her lovely family on site. In addition to the opportunity to try many delicious regional delicacies, we also visited places of interest. We had a very friendly chat and learned more and more about Parma. It was very informal and a relaxed tour. Everyone was very welcoming and we can recommend the tour at any time. We hope to come back to Parma soon for a cooking course with Catia.     The day with Catia and her lovely family was the highlight of my first trip to Italy. We started at the fresh market local to her. Wonderful fresh ingredients. Once at her beautiful home we got busy right away at making Tortelli D'erbetta. It was so fun and delicious! while we waited for the pasta to rest they had apertifo and bites of local meats, cheeses and parmesan. I will share their family recipes with mine for all the years to come. I left so happy! Thank you Catia and family for a wonderfully memorable day!
