    Since I was little, I knew that good food would always be a part of my life, and today I want to take you into the book of my dearest memories. The scent and taste of round purple eggplants are unforgettable, and I still prepare them using my mom's recipe: stuffed with salami and smoked provola, breaded with flour and eggs, and fried. Here they are: the Melanzane alla Pullastiello!

    Another classic Neapolitan dish is spaghetti frittata, a staple of our outings. This "leftover" recipe turns leftover pasta into a delicious, stuffed dish with ham and mozzarella!

    To finish, the sweetest memory: layers of ricotta and cookies with chocolate chips!

    Emanuela and Maurizio were extraordinary hosts from the very beginning. Their home is one of a kind: a terrace with a sea view where they welcomed us with a homemade aperitivo, sharing interesting facts about the city and Neapolitan cuisine with contagious passion. Then the lesson began: we prepared calzoni and montanarine under the expert guidance of Emanuela, fried and eaten immediately – a huge satisfaction! To finish, she had prepared a red berry tiramisu that was simply incredible. The warm welcome and the feeling of truly being at home made our friend Emma's bachelorette party something special and unforgettable. There were ten of us and the space was more than sufficient, both inside and out. I recommend it to anyone who wants to combine a fun and curious culinary experience with the opportunity to meet real Neapolitans, passionate and full of stories to tell! Thank you Emanuela, I’m sure we’ll soon have a good opportunity to return and try new recipes with you!

    Imagine having to go to lunch with a couple of friends or relatives (the ones you like, mind you), and then add a spectacular view of the gulf and Vesuvius. Well, that’s how we felt, like having lunch with people you haven’t seen in a while, but it only takes a moment to reconnect. Emanuela and Maurizio were wonderful hosts, and it wasn’t just about lunch. They explained everything explainable about that marvelous city, Naples, and they made us feel part of something, even if only for a few hours. You can really tell they believe in what they do, and those who believe in it rarely do it badly. It goes without saying that the experience related purely to the food was excellent, and even I, who am celiac, was able to eat the same typical dishes as everyone else, with ingredients dedicated to me. Emanuela and Maurizio aren’t our relatives, but… well, if you could choose your family, we’d want them exactly like this. ❤️

    Emanuela was so kind and welcoming! She immediately welcomed my dad and I into her beautiful home with the most beautiful view of Naples. Her partner Maurizio was so welcoming and kind as well. They made sure we were comfortable at all times. Emanuela had the most wonderful recipes and explained everything wonderfully. The food was so delicious and comforting. We got to eat on her balcony with the most wonderful wine and view. We learned so much about Naples from Emanuela and Maurizio. We could tell they were both so passionate about their city. When Emanuela heard we were going to Pompeii she packed us to go bags for lunch the next day with the food we had made. This was truly an unforgettable experience. Food is a great way to learn about a culture and I would highly recommend this opportunity when in Naples.

    For my husband’s birthday, we went to Emanuela and Maurizio’s house to experience a cooking class! It was simply a magical evening! First of all, the atmosphere: Emanuela and Maurizio’s house is an enchanting place, full of warmth and hospitality. We immediately felt at home, as if we were with family. The cooking class was an incredible experience! We were guided step by step in preparing delicious dishes and learned many tricks and secrets of Italian cuisine. But the real value of this evening was the time spent together!! We felt like one big family, we laughed, joked and savored every moment. The food, of course, was exquisite! And the fact that we prepared it ourselves made it even more special. Thank you, Emanuela and Maurizio, for giving us this unforgettable evening!
