Walking among the stalls, the scents and colors will be a riot of merriment. We will encounter ancient stores, such as the tripperia and the baccalaiolo, and stop at a dairy to taste typical products. I will introduce you to seasonal excellences from Campania, such as friarielli, annurca apple and percoca. At the end of the tour, we will move to my home on Posillipo Hill. It will be a pleasure to show you the wonders of the city from above and, immediately after, all together in the kitchen! Welcome to the family.

: Emanuela and Maurizio were extraordinary hosts from the very beginning. Their home is one of a kind: a terrace with a sea view where they welcomed us with a homemade aperitivo, sharing interesting facts about the city and Neapolitan cuisine with contagious passion. Then the lesson began: we prepared calzoni and montanarine under the expert guidance of Emanuela, fried and eaten immediately – a huge satisfaction! To finish, she had prepared a red berry tiramisu that was simply incredible. The warm welcome and the feeling of truly being at home made our friend Emma's bachelorette party something special and unforgettable. There were ten of us and the space was more than sufficient, both inside and out. I recommend it to anyone who wants to combine a fun and curious culinary experience with the opportunity to meet real Neapolitans, passionate and full of stories to tell! Thank you Emanuela, I’m sure we’ll soon have a good opportunity to return and try new recipes with you!
: Bravo to Emanuela and her fun and fulfilling day of Italian cooking in her wonderful, and inviting home. Her warmth and kind hospitality added to the experience. She patiently led us through the simple and delicious recipes and with that - we wined and dined in spectacular fashion with a killer view of Naples from her outdoor terrace. It was a memorable meal and provided a tasty introduction to Naples.

: Imagine having to go to lunch with a couple of friends or relatives (the ones you like, mind you), and then add a spectacular view of the gulf and Vesuvius. Well, that’s how we felt, like having lunch with people you haven’t seen in a while, but it only takes a moment to reconnect. Emanuela and Maurizio were wonderful hosts, and it wasn’t just about lunch. They explained everything explainable about that marvelous city, Naples, and they made us feel part of something, even if only for a few hours. You can really tell they believe in what they do, and those who believe in it rarely do it badly. It goes without saying that the experience related purely to the food was excellent, and even I, who am celiac, was able to eat the same typical dishes as everyone else, with ingredients dedicated to me. Emanuela and Maurizio aren’t our relatives, but… well, if you could choose your family, we’d want them exactly like this. ❤️
: For my husband’s birthday, we went to Emanuela and Maurizio’s house to experience a cooking class! It was simply a magical evening! First of all, the atmosphere: Emanuela and Maurizio’s house is an enchanting place, full of warmth and hospitality. We immediately felt at home, as if we were with family. The cooking class was an incredible experience! We were guided step by step in preparing delicious dishes and learned many tricks and secrets of Italian cuisine. But the real value of this evening was the time spent together!! We felt like one big family, we laughed, joked and savored every moment. The food, of course, was exquisite! And the fact that we prepared it ourselves made it even more special. Thank you, Emanuela and Maurizio, for giving us this unforgettable evening! We are already ready to return for another culinary adventure together!

Nestled in the gulf, Naples wakes up to views of its splendid sea every day. The same sea which the large, green balcony of our Cesarina's house overlooks, and which offers a breathtaking panorama.

The house where Emanuela is hosting us is spacious, furnished with traditional, refined in taste and flooded with light. Emanuela’s passion for the culinary arts goes back to when she was still a small child, peeking into “mama’s" kitchen. Our Cesarina is a clever mosaic: her intuition for the accompaniments and perfect combinations has made her an expert in the art of preparing good food. Flavors and fragrances are skillfully put together to tell the history and traditions of her region.
