Farmers' homes could not lack the Madia, the wooden furniture that towered over the kitchen and contained bread, flour, and sourdough. The bread was made by housewives once a week and baked in the country wood-fired oven. Leftover bread was not thrown away, and so many tasty recipes were born in Tuscan farmhouses that families still hand down today. You can retrace the steps of our sharecroppers by visiting the old kitchen and wood-burning oven, then all to cook! The children will be able to see the animal farm and have fun cooking with the adults the typical peasant snacks: Strascicato bread, bruschetta but also pappa al pomodoro or Panzanella and the mouth-watering bread, wine, and sugar! During lunch you can taste 3 wines from the organic farm.
