Annarita

"I was born in Garfagnana, a green area between the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines and the Apuan Alps, a happy island of simple, supportive and courageous people, who in the past knew poverty and hard work and, for many years, the woods , chestnuts, mushrooms and snow have been my daily bread. Out of love I moved to Camaiore and the sea, fish and boats have become part of my world. Cooking for me is tradition, memory, passion , love, generosity, care for oneself and for others. Since 2012 I have had a cooking blog Il bosco di alici, in which I tell about myself and my cooking. I learned to cook by watching my mother do it every day, with love, with dedication and with respect. I always try to use quality ingredients, to use local products and not to waste food. I have worked in the kitchen of farmhouses, restaurants and as a personal chef, trying to learn and improve every time".

Our cooking class with Anna was the highlight of our stay in Camaiore. She welcomed us into her home and by the time we left we felt as if we’d been longtime friends. We all had fun making the pasta and tiramisu and then Anna cooked everything so we could enjoy our creations, delicious! Thank you Anna for a truly memorable experience.

We (2 people) visited Annarita on June 3, 2026, and took a cooking class on the topic of "Gnocchi." Annarita is a very warm person and invited us into her eat-in kitchen to introduce us to the secrets of making gnocchi from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., all with a great sense of humor. At the end, she set a table for us in her lovely garden under a kiwi pergola and spoiled us with prosecco, white wine, and many delicious treats! It was a very special cooking class and is absolutely recommended. We would love to come back to learn more things from her range of cooking classes. Thank you, Annarita!

Annarita was amazing. We spent an entire day with her, she taught us how to make tagliatelle, fresh pasta ravioli, and tiramisu. We finished with a very pleasant lunch in her garden. She treated us like 3 princesses. Thank you very much, Annarita.

Annarita was delightful. She made us feel at home in her kitchen. She was a wonderful teacher. We ended with the best lunch of food we had made. We found this cooking class an marvelous experience.

Our group of five senior adults had a most wonderful experience with Annarita at the 3 Pastas Cooking Class in Camiore. We considered this day one of our most fun and helpful for our future Italian pasta cooking. We were welcomed by Annarita into her home. She treated us like family. We were happy to learn the fun things she taught. And then, the finished meal we had from our class when Annarita put it all together was fantastic. I would recommend this to all who enjoy learning while traveling, and to immerse yourself into a cultural experience you can always share and remember with pictures and memories as a highlight of your trip. Thank you, Annarita. Keep up the good work.
