Patrizia was absolutely wonderful. We enjoyed our cooking class so much and the Al fresco dining view from her garden was fantastic! Highly recommend.

From the moment we arrived, Patrizia and Luca made us feel completely at home. Warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do, they turned this cooking class into one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. The setting was nothing short of breathtaking – stunning views that added a magical touch to the entire evening. The class itself was incredibly well-organized and hands-on. We learned so much, but never felt rushed or overwhelmed. Patrizia and Luca patiently guided us through each step, sharing their knowledge with such joy and authenticity that it was impossible not to be inspired. The recipes were not only delicious but easy to recreate at home – a true gift we’ll continue to enjoy long after the trip. What truly made this experience stand out was the warmth and hospitality of our hosts. It felt less like a class and more like spending the afternoon with old friends, cooking, laughing, and sharing stories over a delicious meal we made together. My wife and I had the best time at Patrizia's cooking class! Patrizia and her husband were very welcoming, friendly, and knowledgeable. Their beautiful home has great views of Lake Como and they welcomed us in as if we had been long time friends. Patrizia had a great set up for the class, with everyone getting adequate experience with every step of everything we cooked. With her cooking knowledge she was able to provide us with exactly the experience we were hoping for! Her husband was also very friendly and kept the appetizers coming and wine flowing. They made for great conversationalists and the food we made was delicious - I hope to be able to recreate it at home. If I were to come back I would book with Patrizia again!

What an amazing evening! My husband and I really enjoyed our time with Patrizia and Luca in their home. From the intimate table set for dinner in their garden overlooking Lake Como, to the cooking instructions in her kitchen…it was a delight! I appreciated the professional, informative cooking lesson with Patrizia, and the warm hospitality from Luca. I wanted to experience a true Italian home with a real Italian meal…and this experience delivered it! I hope to return again with friends one day. Be prepared to drive or taxi there, as it is not easily accessible from Varenna, and Patrizia kindly recommended transportation. It was the highlight of our trip to Varenna and I highly recommend it!

The cooking class with Patrizia and her husband, Luca, was one of the highlights of our trip to Bellano and Lake Como! They were both so gracious and welcoming and the views from their home were truly stunning. The class itself was also incredible as was the meal once we sat down to taste our creations! Patrizia even shared the recipes with us and we can't wait to try them at home ourselves. We will definitely look fondly on this experience for years to come! Thank you Patrizia and Luca!

"La mia vita è legata al lago, è qui che ho le mie radici e dove sto bene. Sono una pittrice, il mio lavoro mi permette di gestire il tempo e la cucina è per me il mio secondo laboratorio, dove mi viene facile creare piatti anzichè quadri. I mie due figli, ormai grandi e mio marito sono stati coloro che mi hanno fatto esercitare e amare la cucina. Ospitare amici durante l'estate in giardino è stata l'occasione per capire che ricevere ospiti è un piacere e un arricchimento personale. Gli ingredienti delle mie ricette sono tutti genuini, da produttori locali:  il miele, il formaggio, il pesce, direttamente dal pescatore a Dervio, e le verdure del mio orto che mio marito cura con passione da molti anni. La nostra casa è un po' come le case di una volta, il camino e la stufa ci permettono di riscaldarci e di cucinare a legna, e devo dire che il risultato dei piatti cucinati sulla stufa legna è molto buono. Anche nel giardino abbiamo una cucina e, in estate, prepariamo, cuciniamo e mangiamo sempre all'aperto."
