Un cammino gastronomico per le vie di Verona.

Di fronte a Castelvecchio, il castello scaligero, si trova l'omonima storica pasticceria "Qui Marta e Tina". Ci delizieranno proponendoci i prodotti tipici, di loro produzione, della pasticceria Veronese, come i baci di giulietta, i risini o la torta russa. Proseguiremo poi lungo le Regaste e il profumo di pane fresco e pizza ci condurrà da Sam che sarà lieto di farci assaggiare i suoi prodotti. Concluderemo il nostro tour visitando una delle più antiche salumerie di Verona che si trova proprio a pochi passi dall'Arena. Lì incontreremo Filippo che ci farà gustare la soppressa (il caratteristico salame di Verona) e il formaggio Monte Veronese; il tutto accompagnato da un buon calice di vino. Le tappe potrebbero subire delle variazioni.

: We had the best experience with Michela! She was an incredible host, and it was the highlight of our trip to Verona. We made delicious tortellini, zaletti, and other local treats. She put a lot of attention to detail into the class, would highly recommend! <3

: What a fantastic experience with Michela in Verona for the market and cooking class. My wife and I loved shopping the local food market and then putting some of those ingredients to work in our meal. We prepared an appetizer, 2 pasta dishes and a dessert. All were delicious and Michela even started us with a little aperitif and some wine to get us in the Italian spirit! Michela was very patient with us, and completely flexible in deciding what to make, different flavours to add, etc. My wife doesn’t eat red meats, but this was no problem for our class. Michela guided us through multiple steps of her recipes - but all were fairly easy to follow, and she demonstrated then had us repeat and learn the ropes. The pastas we made were excellent - but everything was really great. Michela is located in the heart of Verona so it is a fantastic way to get into the city, spend some time cooking (and eating) and then exploring the city to work your meal off. Highly recommend Michela - felt very comfortable spending time with her in the kitchen - and then dining with her in her home.

Michela è veronese doc, vive da sempre a Verona, città d’arte e dell’amore. Il suo appartamento è a pochi passi da Piazza Brà, il salotto di Verona. Le colline con i suoi vigneti, il lago di Garda con gli ulivi secolari e i monti Lessini fanno da contorno ai monumenti di una città dagli scorci magici. La sua passione per la cucina è un retaggio di famiglia. Nonna Laura e mamma Bibi coinvolgevano nipoti e figli nella preparazione di pasta fresca lunga e corta, lasagne, tortellini e tortelli, secondi di carne con contorni e dolci. "In cucina cerco di trasmettere il valore della semplicità, ma nel contempo sono sempre pronta a sperimentare nuovi piatti, utilizzando principalmente i prodotti tipici del territorio veronese."
