Food Tour: discover the best places where to taste the finest local food & wine

Shared Experience
Your experience

Our journey will begin with a visit to an ancient frantoio in Buti, a true dive into the life of the past. With a guide, we will discover the secrets of the olive mill and taste the excellent extra virgin olive oil from the Monti Pisani. After this authentic experience, I will welcome you into my kitchen for a hands-on cooking class: together we will prepare tagliatelle, ravioli, or gnocchi, which we will then enjoy all together around my table, in a warm and convivial atmosphere. The grand finale will be dedicated to traditional desserts: castagnaccio with ricotta, Tuscan cantuccini with Vin Santo, my grandmother’s ricotta cake, or the timeless and beloved Tiramisu. A journey of flavors, traditions, and sharing that will stay in your heart—and on your palate.

Cosetta was an amazing host! She made me feel incredibly welcome and taught me how to make fresh pasta! She made it v easy. I could tell she had gone above amd beyond to make this an incredible experience for me and I am grateful. The dinner she has prepared was also delicious! I also enjoyed the olive oil mill tour! Thank you, Cosetta- I hope to see you again in the future!!

Together with my daughter of 15 i had booked a cooking class by Cosetta. We had a warm welcome by Paulo en Cosetta. Because my daughter of 15 has autism, she needs one on one instructions. We want to make real Italian tiramisu. Cosetta was very patient and give on a friendly way step by step good instructions. After the tiramisu was ready, it must rest down in the frigde for a half hour. Cosetta had made the day before some apetizers for us. Paulo had choosen some good and fine wine. After the apetizers, we could taste the tiramisu. This was delicious! We made some good real Italian tiramisu. This was for my daughter and I a very nice and positive experience. Paulo en Cosetta are such a nice and friendly People. They make us feel like home.

We were warmly welcomed to Cosetta’s home and offered prosecco and delicious delicacies home made by Cosetta. I loved the pasta cooking class to make lovely ricotta ravioli. Cosetta was a skilled and patient teacher, generously sharing how to make her special family recipe. We shared what we made enjoying the meal together. The ravioli and the conversation were excellent. The meal was completed with the very best tiramisu and we couldn’t believe the evening went by all too fast. This was by far the best experience my husband and I had on our trip in Tuscany and I would recommend this experience to anyone who wants to have an authentic Tuscan experience. Grazie Mille Cosetta!

I am sure that cooking with Cosetta is an unforgettable experience, but if like me, you simply enjoy spending an evening in her company delighting in her dishes, you can only be satisfied. It was an unforgettable evening in the company of two people who know how to welcome and make you feel at ease. Cosetta an excellent cook and Paolo, her partner, a true gentleman. Thank you because this experience will remain in my heart.

"I have always enjoyed cooking traditional Tuscan dishes and in particular those of Butesi, because all the recipes passed to me by my mom and my grandmother (who with my grandfather also had a pizzeria). My recipes are in fact enclosed in a notebook very precious to me and, among my favorite dishes there are crostini alla butese as an appetizer and macaroni with meat sauce and egg noodles for the first courses. Among the second courses my preferences are for black sprouts with pork and zucchini stuffed. For desserts tiramisu and castagnaccio. Preferably, I like to cook earthy dishes, appetizers, first and second courses of meat and desserts ".
