It is a leavened and then fried dough, which can be either sweet or savoury, i.e. with honey or caster sugar, or filled with salted anchovies, n'duja, salt cod, sun-dried tomatoes and olives, ricotta, caciocavallo cheese and mortadella. I will introduce you to the old traditional rituals of the crispedda, while waiting for it to rise, and there will be an aperitif with festive snacks.
