Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina

My table showcases the Salento region through its simplest and most authentic flavours. We start with crispy friselline, peperonata, grilled vegetables, fresh cheese and homemade bread to be enjoyed with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. Next comes homemade pasta, prepared with fresh tomatoes and basil, accompanied by a fine wine from the cellar.

To finish, tiramisu and a coffee. Salento-style friselline, peperonata, grilled vegetables, fresh cheese, homemade bread with extra virgin olive oil, and homemade pasta, just as tradition dictates.

The experience can take place at my home in Otranto or, weather permitting, in my garden. In either case, it will be a time of conviviality, to spend time together, chat and savour the flavours of my homeland at a leisurely pace.
