In welcoming you to my town and my home, I am happy to give you a taste of local produce grown by my family. We will begin with delicious bruschetta topped with cream of fava beans and crispy guanciale, chicory and ciauscolo, accompanied by a pesto of black celery from Trevi. Next, we will delight you with polenta accompanied by a tasty sausage sauce, enriched with pork fat and lean. Finally, to end on a sweet note, we will taste delicious musty doughnuts.

- If you want to experience what true Italian hospitality really means, this activity is definitely for you! I was hosted by the wonderful family — Claudia and Francesco — with whom I felt just like among my own loved ones. I also had the chance to help prepare some local dishes and then enjoy them together at the table. And those beautiful views all around... simply amazing! It’s definitely one of the best experiences I’ve had during my stay in Italy.

Many items she and her family had grown and made, including their olive oil. Claudia’s kitchen is beautiful and makes for the perfect place to learn some traditional dishes. They were truly wonderfuL. If you're in Italy you ABSOLUTELY have to do this!
