We’ll begin at the Albinelli Market, a symbol of Modena’s local life, where we’ll explore and get lost among stalls filled with fresh, seasonal, and local products. Then, we’ll head toward my home, strolling through Piazza Grande, where we’ll pass by two iconic spots: Acetaia Giusti and Tamara’s Torteria, to fully experience Modena’s culinary heritage. Once at my place, we’ll enjoy a 2-hour cooking class, preparing together a typical Modenese recipe with fresh pasta. We’ll end our morning with a glass of local wine, celebrating traditional cuisine in a warm and friendly atmosphere. I can’t wait to welcome you!

- Rafaela was an amazing host. SHe taught us how to make torteloni, taglieteli and tiramisu. She was very welcoming and friendly. I would definitley reccomend.
- We had a wonderful cooking class with Rafaela! My family of four loved every minute of it. She contacted us the day before to ask about preferences for what we would like to learn to make. We said local cuisine and tortellini. She exceeded our expectations. She was very informative about local cuisine and culture and talked us through the recipes and process. The only challenge was we were there during very hot weather and there was no air conditioning, but we still enjoyed the evening. We highly recommend this experience.
- It was a wonderful experience.. Raffaela welcomed us in her beautiful furnished appartment. She taught us how to prepare two sorts of pasta, and Tiramisu and the tasty starters. She was the perfect host, gave us lots of good cooking hints, and created a warm family atmosphere. We fully enjoyed this event!

Cesarina from 2018Location: Modena Languages: German, English, ItalianRaffaella's house is located near the center of Modena, where the historic Via Giardini begins, that since 1781 connects Modena and Lucca, crossing the Apennines. The environment in which Raffaella receives guests is an art nouveau house in which our Cesarina has carefully and lovingly preserved family objects and furnishings. With similar feelings, Raffaella, who beyond the passion for cooking also cultivates the one for foreing languages, English and German in particular, welcomes friends and guests, pampering them with the aromas and flavors of her dishes.
