Shared Experience
Your experience

The experience begins in the heart of Modenese tradition, at Casa Giusti—a charming estate nestled in the countryside, home to the family museum, historic aging barrels, and a tasting room. Here, the Giusti family shares over four centuries of history, unveils the secrets of Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, and offers delicious tastings. The meeting point is at 11:00 AM at the Acetaia. At 12:30 PM, we’ll head to my home for a traditional lunch, preceded by a demonstration of handmade tortelloni. The menu, inspired by Giusti Balsamic Vinegar, includes: a starter of tigelle or bruschetta with Parmigiano Reggiano and balsamic vinegar, ricotta and Parmigiano tortelloni with butter and a few drops of balsamic, artisanal vanilla gelato with a final touch of balsamic vinegar.

Grazie!!

I booked this for my wife's birthday and she loved it. We were welcomed to her home and my wife had a wonderful time, learning to make local food and learning Italian. I highly recommend this as an activity for everyone.

Cesarina from 2019Location: Modena    Languages: Italian and English
Modena is a city rich in tradition, famous throughout the world for good food and passion for the automotive industry. On its hills, you can see castles, fortresses, towers, and medieval villages, testimonies of its history, in a landscape that satisfies mind and spirit. Luisa spent her childhood in grandmother's kitchen, surrounded by the aromas and flavors of peasant cuisine. Every day she smelled the scent of fresh homemade pasta, tigelle, and crescentine, and it was exactly her grandmother who taught her to 'put your hands in the dough’. Our Cesarina lives closer to the historic center, where she hides a real treasure: the old family vinegar factory, which she loves to show her guests.
