By joining this food experience you will have the opportunity to really enjoy the Sicilian cuisine at a deeper and more personal level while sitting at my table dining with my family in my home in the heart of Palermo's historic center just a stone's throw away from the Opera House, the Teatro Massimo.
I will welcome you with a sicilian happy-hour, then we will end a dish altogether and I will show you for example how to shape a typical fresh pasta or how to prepare a typical appetizer such as cacio all'argentiera, a Palermo city traditional way of cooking cheese. I will also entertain you by telling you stories and anecdotes of dishes I will propose. We will taste together a three-course menu, all homemade, which will be served with excellent local wine and warm Sicilian hospitality.

- I cannot say enough about this beautiful experience shared. The market was full of local fish and vegetables along with specialty items local to Sicily. The knowledge regarding making pasta.. there is actually a science behind it. Of the actual cooking of the ingredients we got from the market and building the amazing local flavors was exceptional!!! Cesarina from 2022Location: Palermo Languages: English, Italian, Spanish, FrenchI was passionate about cooking and food since I was a child, accomplices grandmother who loved to cook and the whole family who loves to eat well. I therefore decided to pursue a university career in the field of gastronomy. I have faced a multidisciplinary and holistic path that has treated the world of food at 360 o'clock. I love cooking for my family and for others, starting from the choice of recipes and the selection of ingredients. I like to experiment and I'm particularly passionate about pastry and leavened foods. I do research on ancient cookbooks and asking around, especially older ladies, their family recipes. Sicily, like all Italy, has an invaluable gastronomic heritage, whose recipes and preparations vary from house to house, not only between cities and provinces. This gives the palate the opportunity to enjoy the same traditional dishes with different ingredients, techniques and stories.
