You will be welcomed in my art atelier immersed in the historic Ballarò market (Souk El Ballarak), we will decide our menu together, we will go and buy the ingredients at the market among the characteristic counters full of colors and scents typical of our land. We will return home and together we will create the menu with imagination, tradition and seasonality. The menu will consist of 3 courses, appetizer, first course of fresh pasta, dessert. The menu varies according to the season and your tastes. I will be careful of your allergies and intolerances. During the cooking class you can enjoy an aperitif with local products and during lunch / dinner, you can drink excellent organic Sicilian wine. All accompanied by my stories and my songs.

Market tour and cooking class in Palermo 

We will pay a visit to a typical Sicilian market with street vendors and purchase raw materials , and then we will go home to cook the three recipes of our menu.We will prepare the following menu:-Sfincione palermitano-Eggplant rolls stuffed with fresh pasta: homemade maccaruni covered with fresh sheep ricotta cheese-Lemon cream or ricotta cake as a final dessert

Palermo Cape Market plus cooking class

I will introduce you to the seaside village of Aspra with its characteristic fish market. Then we will go to my house where I will prepare a typical lunch with local fish. Mine is an exclusively local cuisine.

I'll let you taste "SFINCIONE" a particular Bagheria focaccia with anchovies, pecorino cheese, onions, breadcrumbs, sliced tuma (Sicilain cheese made from raw sheep's milk) and extra-virgin olive oil. Then you'll taste the Vastedda (typical soft bread) with ricotta cheese and we conclude with the sfincia (dessert with Bagheria ricotta cream).

At my home in the country, in Santa Flavia, all the ingredients used have natural origins. On this alternative tour we will gather all the products we need directly from my garden, such as eggs from the chicken coop and vegetables, to make our dishes together. We will give free rein to our creativity!
