Fresh pasta
Cannoli
Around my kitchen table, we’ll get our hands dirty making potato gnocchi and/or stuffed ravioli and/or fresh tonnarelli pasta. Served with traditional Sicilian sauces made with meat, fish or seasonal vegetables. To finish, a traditional dessert with a modern twist: deconstructed cannoli or baked cassata. All accompanied by fine wine from Sicilian vineyards and plenty of fun and conviviality.
Amazing cooking class in an authentic Italian home. The hosts were so kind and knowledgeable about the food and process of preparation. We immediately felt welcome in their home. The class was the perfect length and ended with a sit down meal to enjoy the food that we created with a bottle of wine. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the area. It was also conveniently located close to the port, so it was a walkable distance from the cruise ship.

First "Cesarine" experience and we couldn’t have been luckier to have met Agata and her partner! We were welcomed into the heart of Palermo and guided through the history and intense flavors of Sicily. Ingredients from the land and sea, anchovies, eggplant and ricotta skillfully orchestrated by Agata to create dishes that provided the backdrop for a journey to discover Sicily that will be hard to forget.
Thank you Agata for giving us a pleasant walk through the streets of Palermo and for welcoming us into your life, even if only for a few hours.
I would return to Palermo just to relive an evening with Agata and her cooking.

My mom and I had the BEST experience with Agata! Her warm and kind demeanor made the cooking experience approachable and fun. We made two pasta dishes (spaghetti and gnocchi from scratch) and tiramisu and the food was so delicious. We were able to learn new things that we'll now take back home with us. Agata was so delightful and welcoming. I recommend her highly!

This evening was way beyond expectstion. Agata is such a lovely person and exceptional host. Not only did we learn how to make Pasta, Gnocchi and Tiramisu, we also learnt a lot about sicilian cuisine and life. We will keep this evening in fond memory. Thank you so much, Agata + her nice daughters and little Sol.

I've always been passionate about cooking, even during my time as a teacher at the Hospitality Institute. I used to go down to the kitchens with the students, where I particularly focused on a theoretical and practical course, cooking dishes from the civilizations that have influenced Sicilian cuisine, from the ancient Greeks to the present day. It was a splendid experience, allowing me to deepen my understanding of the history and gastronomic culture of our land.
