    During this experience, I will guide you on a pleasant and lively tour of the Mercato del Capo, one of Palermo's most famous open-air markets. Here you will learn how to recognize the best seasonal ingredients and discover typical local products. Afterwards, we will move to my home, located right in the center of town, a stone's throw from the Teatro Massimo, to enjoy a delicious homemade Sicilian aperitivo, accompanied by a good glass of wine.

    Alice & Francesco were amazing hosts! Our group absolutely loved visiting their beautiful home, cooking traditional Sicilian pasta & tiramisu, & trying different local foods. What made our evening with A&F so special, was their incredible generosity! We were also blown away by their friendliness & the amount of information they were able to share with us, not only about the local produce & traditional recipes but also about Palermo’s politics & history. We could not recommend A&F enough- they were fantastic teachers & wonderful hosts! Thank you!!

    Alice and Francesco were amazing hosts. This was our first time in Italy and they were by far the most memorable part of our trip, also the best food we ate on the trip. We would highly recommend booking a class with her while you are staying in Palermo.

    We had a really pleasant Morning & Afternoon with Alice & Francesco, learning all about some of the cultural history of Italian cooking and even more enjoyable eating freshly made food prepared by our very hands 😍 I recommend the class to all visiting, but make sure you do so early on during your trip so you can ask for wonderful recommendations for the rest of your trip!

    Alice provided a magical evening. Every dish was delicious. Alice was extremely well organized and ensured a very hands-on experience. After cooking the dishes we prepared, we enjoyed an engaging dinner with Alice and Francesco full of interesting and informative discussions.     "I was passionate about cooking and food since I was a child, accomplices grandmother who loved to cook and the whole family who loves to eat well. I therefore decided to pursue a university career in the field of gastronomy. I have faced a multidisciplinary and holistic path that has treated the world of food at 360 o'clock. I love cooking for my family and for others, starting from the choice of recipes and the selection of ingredients. I like to experiment and I'm particularly passionate about pastry and leavened foods. I do research on ancient cookbooks and asking around, especially older ladies, their family recipes. Sicily, like all Italy, has an invaluable gastronomic heritage, whose recipes and preparations vary from house to house, not only between cities and provinces. This gives the palate the opportunity to enjoy the same traditional dishes with different ingredients, techniques and stories."
