Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina

Shared Experience

In a shared experience, other guests may be added, up to the maximum number of people that the host can accommodate. Therefore you may have the opportunity to share your passion for good food and cooking with other people from all over the world!

Your experience

    We meet in the morning at the market, one of the most historic markets, and do our shopping together. We will customize our menu according to your preferences or intolerances and buy ingredients that we will use together to prepare our lunch.

    After a tour of the market of about 30-40 minutes we will walk for 15 minutes to get home, a beautiful apartment with a terrace and a view of the Cathedral of Palermo, inside a historic building from the 1700s: Palazzo Asmundo. We will begin cooking while also tasting cheeses, olives and other local specialties, always accompanied by a good glass of Sicilian wine. We will prepare a menu of 4 traditional Sicilian dishes from appetizer to dessert with Sicilian wines and to finish the house limoncello!

    Patrizia was a lovely host. She taught us how to make a version of pesto and a deconstructed cannoli. We had lots of fun and laughs - definitely recommend!
