The menu celebrates authentic Sicilian flavors, starting with an appetizer full of local specialties: eggplant caponata, sun-dried tomatoes in oil, black pepper cheese, homemade olives and bruschetta. As a first course, a meat and vegetable cous cous, enriched with a sprinkling of toasted almonds, for a unique, fragrant dish with Mediterranean flavors. To finish, cassatelle filled with ricotta or chickpeas, accompanied by wine, bitters and coffee. All ingredients used are organic and sourced from local crops, for a genuine and sustainable experience.

- Che dire di Rita, semplicemente una perfetta padrona di casa, accolti con il suo sorriso in una location curata in tutti i particolari. Le sue pietanze cucinate con amore e in particolare un cous cous di carne, mai mangiato cosi, dal gusto straordinario. Sicuramente esperienza da ripetere.
- My experience today was just incredible. Traveling from South Louisiana, I wanted to learn how to make pasta from scratch in a comfortable and friendly environment. I am a novice cook. Somewhat experienced. Anyway, the highlights for me were: Maria Rita was an excellent hands on teacher. She paid close attention to my comfort level. If o wanted to work, she let me work, if I was tired, she finished for me. Maria Rita’s daughter Francescana was there to translate for us. Maria Rita knows English however Francesca is fluent in English. They welcomed my wife into their home at no extra charge. The conversation was just natural and warm. Maria Rita and her daughter are simply good people. We laughed a lot. The food was so fresh and so good. All of the vegetables we prepared and ate were home grown by Maria Rita. The food highlights for me were: homemade sun dried tomatoes in her homemade olive oil, with homegrown basil and garlic. The bruschetta, wow! Maria Rita’s tomatoes are grown hydroponically. She has her own chickens because her daughter loves fresh eggs of course :) The fresh made pasta was Delizioso and I was proud to make it with semolina flour and a pinch of semolina. I could go on and on, but instead I will tell you that my wife and I will be back at the home of Maria Rita. We felt so very comfortable. Top experience in Sicily so far!

The essence that every food emanates, the aromas of spices and herbs I use in every recipe, or simply the scents that develop during cooking, bring me joy and well-being. This is what I aim to offer my guests, in addition to delighting their palate, of course.
