    In this experience I offer an appetizer with bruschetta with Sicilian truffle, bacon rolls with spring onion, sheep ricotta cheese and sun-dried tomatoes in oil, all accompanied by our fragrant local Parrini bread. After the appetizer, you will enjoy the polenta with Sicilian truffle, a tasty and very fragrant dish. To finish, the cannolo with ricotta accompanied by passito di Pantelleria. The cannolo will be filled with ricotta cheese when you enjoy it, so you can best savor the crunchiness of the wafer and the creaminess of the ricotta.

    La serata trascorsa nella splendida casa della Cesarina Maria Rita è stata un'esperienza che resterà nel cuore. Fin dal nostro arrivo, ci ha fatto sentire come a casa, con un sorriso caloroso e un' atmosfera incantevole …Ogni dettaglio, dalla tavola apparecchiata in modo impeccabile al delizioso cibo, rifletteva il suo impegno e la sua attenzione , che dire…tutto rispecchiava la padrona di casa ! Ma il vero protagonista della serata è stato il cibo, preparato con maestria dalla padrona di casa. l piatti che ho assaggiato sono stati semplicemente eccezionali. La caponata, ricca di sapori e tradizione siciliana, ma il piatto straordinario che merita una menzione speciale è stato il “cous cous di carne”. La presentazione è stata impeccabile, un vero piacere per gli occhi e per il palato....semplicemente buonissimo! La combinazione del cous cous incocciato a mano faceva la differenza… perché con la carne e gli ortaggi locali hanno creato un'armonia perfetta, mentre le spezie hanno esaltato ogni singolo elemento. In sintesi, questo piatto è un capolavoro culinario che consiglio vivamente a chiunque voglia deliziare il palato. Esperienza che consiglio e che non vedo l'ora di ripetere!

    Che dire di Rita, semplicemente una perfetta padrona di casa, accolti con il suo sorriso in una location curata in tutti i particolari. Le sue pietanze cucinate con amore e in particolare un cous cous di carne, mai mangiato cosi, dal gusto straordinario. Sicuramente esperienza da ripetere.

    My experience today was just incredible. Traveling from South Louisiana, I wanted to learn how to make pasta from scratch in a comfortable and friendly environment. I am a novice cook. Somewhat experienced. Anyway, the highlights for me were: Maria Rita was an excellent hands on teacher. She paid close attention to my comfort level. If o wanted to work, she let me work, if I was tired, she finished for me. Maria Rita’s daughter Francescana was there to translate for us. Maria Rita knows English however Francesca is fluent in English. They welcomed my wife into their home at no extra charge. The conversation was just natural and warm. Maria Rita and her daughter are simply good people. We laughed a lot. The food was so fresh and so good. All of the vegetables we prepared and ate were home grown by Maria Rita. The food highlights for me were: homemade sun dried tomatoes in her homemade olive oil, with homegrown basil and garlic. The bruschetta, wow! Maria Rita’s tomatoes are grown hydroponically. She has her own chickens because her daughter loves fresh eggs of course :) The fresh made pasta was Delizioso and I was proud to make it with semolina flour and a pinch of semolina. I could go on and on, but instead I will tell you that my wife and I will be back at the home of Maria Rita. We felt so very comfortable. Top experience in Sicily so far!
