Palermo's sfincione has a fascinating history that originated in the 1700s in the monastery of San Vito. We will start by preparing together the dough, rich in water for a soft texture, which we will roll out in the pan and then add the traditional toppings. We will also prepare the Montanarine: soft fried delights, with tomato sauce, eggplant and cheese shavings. While the sfincione bakes, I will tell you anecdotes and trivia about this unique specialty. And to accompany it, we will taste a glass of Sicilian wine. An authentic experience of flavors and traditions!
