Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina

Shared Experience
Your experience

During this experience you will learn how to make fresh Italian pasta, creating two classics together: stuffed ravioli and cavatelli (a traditional format shaped like small shells typical of southern Italy). We will saute cavatelli with a seasonal sauce made with fresh, local ingredients. To conclude, we will prepare together tiramisu, the most famous Italian dessert in the world. At the end, we will enjoy the prepared dishes together, accompanying them with an excellent Sicilian wine. An authentic and tasty experience not to be missed!

The cooking class with Maria was amazing. The atmosphere was very enjoying, we learned a lot about the Italian food and culture. Highly recommendation to visit her class. Also, the location is perfectly in the center of Palermo and easy reachable.

We had a really great cooking class and a wonderful time at ! The atmosphere at Maria Giulia's was relaxed and warm, and we didn't just prepare delicious food, but also learned a lot about Italian cuisine. The food was, of course, the highlight at the end – everything was incredibly delicious! 😍 We would take the cooking class again anytime and can definitely recommend it!

Our host was a very sweet lady who opened her home to give us a cooking lesson. Her English was easy to understand; otherwise, we would have used Google Translate. It was a lovely surprise that my boyfriend had booked for me. During the lesson, we learned how to make busiate pasta. It was certainly not easy, but with good guidance, we managed! Before we started, our host had prepared some delicious snacks with a nice glass of wine. After that, we got to work. Definitely recommended to book this.

"Mine is a simple cuisine. In fact, I do not like dishes with too many ingredients because I think that the flavors must be rediscovered and not" covered "by the sometimes excessive use of cream or other. It is also a cuisine linked to the memory of the dishes cooked from my grandmother or my mother ".
