Immerse yourself in the local market in the city center, among the characteristic stalls selling fruit, vegetables, cheese, and freshly caught fish, surrounded by an atmosphere of conviviality and friendship that recalls times long past. From here, we will walk to the most classic of Messina's street foods: granita with brioche, now famous even beyond the city limits. We will then sample the local rotisserie, with pidoni and arancini, and continue our walk through the streets of the city center, where you can experience and breathe in the true essence of the city.

This was such an amazing experience! The whole family was kind and fun to be around and the home was cozy and clean. The food turned out like nothing we have ever had before... it was incredible. As someone from the U.S. this was a once in a lifetime experience for us and we would 100% recommend this to anyone and everyone. We absolutely loved spending our afternoon with Stefania and her family!

Raised alongside my maternal grandmother, I have nurtured a passion for cooking since I was a child, guided lovingly by my Nonnina and her treasured recipes. I cook to bring back the flavors and aromas of Messinese and Sicilian tradition, ancient yet still alive within me: from pesce stocco alla ghiotta to carefully prepared meat rolls, all made according to the recipes passed down through my family. My home is always open—not only to friends, but also to guests from other countries, with whom I enjoy sharing a chat and preparing together the precious family recipes.
