You can celebrate a significant event with a typical culinary experience from my city. My home will be your home for the entire experience, and I will reveal to you the secrets of Sicilian cooking, particularly on how to cook 'swordfish a ghiotta' (a typical fish from our seas, cooked in tomato sauce). We will begin with a characteristic aperitif with local cheeses and meats, accompanied by a DOCG Prosecco, followed by a first course of fresh pasta topped with swordfish sauce. This will be followed by a second course, the 'swordfish a ghiotta'. A true delight, unique in its kind! We will conclude the experience with a dessert of your choice between Sicilian cannoli, almond pastries, or tiramisu. The meal will be accompanied by a typical DOCG wine from the territory, red or white.

- Rossella and her family welcomed us into their home for pasta making. We had a wonderful time making 3 types of pasta and enjoyed the company and conversations with 3 generations of her family. Rossella was very knowledgeable about the pasta making and very patient with us as it was our first time making pasta!!! It was a very enjoyable experience and I would highly recommend this to others looking to spend time with a Sicilian pasta chef. Thanks Rossella for the great day!!!
- This experience was one of the highlights of our trip. Rosella and her family were so welcoming and loving. We had the eight year old daughter with us, who loves to cook, and she was so kind and patient with everything we did. The food was amazing and we learned a lot!! Would recommend this to anyone and if we ever make it back we plan to do this again!
- We just left our cooking class with Rosella and I couldn’t speak more highly of this experience. Rosella and her husband were lovely company, it was so fun getting to know them. She showed us how to make 3 pastas, a fettuccine ragu, a spaghetti in pesto sauce and spinach ravioli in a butter sauce. All 3 pastas were so delicious. She also had made the BEST cannoli I have ever tried. Not only did she share her knowledge and answer all of our questions, but they sent recipes, links to tools, and gave us each a little gift. We will definitely reach out to them the next time we make it to Messina, just the nicest people. Thank you so much!
- Rosella and Giuseppe kindly welcomed us into their home and explained everything very thoroughly. The pasta class was fantastic and the food was extra delicious. This is definitely an experience we will remember forever and would definitely recommend for anyone looking to learn a skill and meet some nice people.
- Excellent experience learning how to create proper Italian pasta. It was great fun using the pasta machine and creating the ravioli. English speaking assistant was also very helpful. I would of liked to have seen how the different sauces for the pasta were made. Also having a print out of the recipies to take with us would have been good also.
