Your experience
  • Polenta balls with Luganega sausage
  • Buckwheat ravioli with bresaola, potatoes, and casera cheese
  • Pan meino (typical Lombard dessert)

We are Carolina and Simona, a passionate mother-daughter duo living in the picturesque town of Cantù. We invite you to our cozy penthouse, boasting breathtaking views of the Swiss Alps, Lake Como, and Monte Rosa. Together, we will savor the dishes we prepare during this private cooking lesson, complemented by excellent red or white wine, concluding with homemade limoncello crafted from organic lemons.

Throughout the course, we will guide you in working with typical Lombard flours, such as polenta flour, buckwheat flour, and "fioretto" yellow flour. We'll create a traditional appetizer, a fresh pasta dish, and a dessert. Upon your return home, you'll amaze your guests with these delightful, authentic Italian recipes you've learned from us. We can't wait to welcome you!

Overall a warm and welcoming learning experience. Caroline and Simone clearly know what they’re doing teaching through a hands on approach. Definitely an experience that we will carry home with us, connecting us all internationally with the power of a meal. Truly a unique and special experience, would highly recommend.

Carolina and Simona are the consummate hosts who ensured we felt comfortable and had fun. Carolina’s tomatoe sauce was superb and Simona’s explanations on the process, Italian cooking history, and recs on Italian food and European destinations were fantastic! Our family loved the class and food. Highly recommended!

The food and the hospitality at the pasta making class were absolutely amazing!! They even picked us up from the train station and made us feel right at home and guided us through the process with so much warmth and enthusiasm. The best part was getting to enjoy the delicious pasta we made together while sipping some wine. It felt like a true Italian feast! I highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn how to make authentic pasta and tiramisu while feeling like part of a big Italian family. Buon appetito!

My daughter and I attended a wonderful evening of cooking, connecting and eating. Simona, Carolina and Antonio made us feel welcome in their lovely home. Both Simona and Carolina were very knowledgable around the history and traditions associated with the dishes. They have a great set up for group cooking with everyone being involved in the preparation (we had 4 people in our group). We then had a lovely meal together, enjoying the results of our cooking and sharing a bottle of wine with great conversation. I highly recommend this cooking experience. Thank you Simona, Carolina and Antonio.
