Gnocchi are one of the most beloved and versatile dishes in Italian cuisine. Although potato ones are the best known, there are many variations that give different flavors, colors and textures. Gnocchi made with pumpkin, ricotta, broccoli, red turnip, tomato and even stale bread, all prepared with fresh, local ingredients. In this experience, we will learn together three different types of gnocchi, following seasonality and enhancing local products. We will discover how a simple dish can be transformed into a unique and tasty gastronomic experience!

- Giancomo and Alex are fantastic hosts and made us feel like their close friends. We had a terrific evening with them and the food was amazing. They went above and beyond in hospitality. This is a definite “MUST” when in Rimini area.
- This experience gave us an incredibly authentic Italian feel for the cuisine and culture in this gorgeous area in Italy! Giacomo shared his passion for pasta making and it was fun to each make our own piadina bread! The food we were served was incredible and we felt that we were guests sharing a meal with friends…such was the hospitality of Giacomo and Alex, who also took us on a beautiful walking tour of their beloved city of Santarcangelo, which had us falling in love with the area! A quintessential Italian experience that we will never forget!
- Excellent evening! Giacomo was the ultimate host . He is a master of pasta and piadine bread and we had so much fun making it with him . The food was delicious and the tiramisu was to die for … totally authentic and not the watered down version we get at home! A big thank you to both Giacomo and Alex for their outstanding hospitality and help with the train to get there and the wonderful tour of their amazing town of Santarcangelo. Truly a town not to miss and a fantastic experience .

Cesarina from 2023Location: Santarcangelo di Romagna Languages: Italian and EnglishI am originally from Cervia, but I moved to Rimini at the age of 25, and I have been living in Santarcangelo di Romagna for over 15 years, just a few kilometers away from Rimini and the sea. Santarcangelo is a lively inland town, full of commercial and dining activities, with a historic center particularly appreciated for its architecture and scenic beauty. I decided to dedicate myself full time to my lifelong passion: traditional and popular Romagna cuisine. Today, I am a professional sfoglino (pasta maker) for some famous local restaurants, and I enjoy experimenting with the many and varied local ingredients to create the best flavors. I love sharing my passion and my continuous search for excellent local raw materials with my friends and everyone who wants to experience the surprising sensations of Romagna cuisine. For this reason, I decided to open the doors of my home to the guests of Cesarine, confirming the hospitality of our territory, Romagna!
