  • Strozzapreti with mushrooms and sausage

Following my grandmother's teachings, we will start the day with the preparation of the dough ( with and without eggs ) and the filling for cappelletti.

Using a rolling pin, we will roll out the pastry as we once did and then prepare the various pasta shapes ( strozzapreti, tagliatelle, cappelletti ) by hand.

If it were possible I‘d rate the experience a 10/10. Me and my boyfriend absolutely loved it! We first learned how to make traditional piadina, which we’ve never heard about before but was absolutely delicious. After that, we made two different doughs and learned how to shape different kinds of pasta. Giacomo and Alex were both amazing hosts and we immediately felt at home. After we finished the pasta and ate it (very delicious btw!) it was time for tiramisu, which was without a doubt the best one we’ve ever eaten!!! Before the class was finished we were offered coffee and got to try Giacomo’s homemade Limoncello. It was a perfect evening and we enjoyed every second of it. Thank you!

We really enjoyed the cooking course of Giacomo and the way he told so passionately about pasta. First we made Some piadinas(local dish) which we really enjoyed making and eating. After that we made 2 different doughs and multiple pastas from it. We really liked this experience and then we ate 2 different pasta types and sauces. We really recommend it to everyone!

The cooking class with Giacomo was great! We learned how to make traditional Piadina, various authentic Italian pasta and Tiramisu. The expertise of Giacomo as a professional pasta chef and his passion for Italian food was evident in every detail. Beyond the culinary mastery, Giacomo's hospitality created a relaxed atmosphere where we felt comfortable to learn, ask questions, and fully enjoy the process and the delicious dishes. This course was not only a fantastic culinary adventure but also a cultural experience. We left inspired, with new skills and wonderful memories. We absolutely recommend Giacomo's cooking class!

This cooking class gave us an authentic Italian feel for the cuisine and culture. Giacomo shared his passion for pasta making and he and Alex were fantastic hosts and our group was great, we had so much fun ! The food was amazing, they also took us on a beautiful walking tour of their beautifull city Santarcangelo, a lively town with lights and cozy restaurants everywhere and great view on the top. Thank you for this Italian evening and the tips you have us to see San Leo and Gabicce Monte, we did both !

Amazing Pasta-Making Experience near Rimini! This was truly one of the best experiences you can have in the Rimini area! During the pasta-making class, we learned to create many different types of pasta — from simple shapes to more intricate ones — and we enjoyed every moment of it. The entire experience was top-level: well-organized, fun, and interactive. Throughout the class, we were offered drinks — water, wine, or Coca-Cola — which made the atmosphere even more relaxed and enjoyable. After we finished making the pasta, the chef cooked it for us while we had great conversations around the table. We were also treated to a delicious tiramisu, and the whole dinner turned out to be absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended to anyone visiting this part of Italy. An unforgettable culinary adventure!

Cesarina from 2023Location: Santarcangelo di Romagna    Languages: Italian and English
I am originally from Cervia, but I moved to Rimini at the age of 25, and I have been living in Santarcangelo di Romagna for over 15 years, just a few kilometers away from Rimini and the sea. Santarcangelo is a lively inland town, full of commercial and dining activities, with a historic center particularly appreciated for its architecture and scenic beauty. I decided to dedicate myself full time to my lifelong passion: traditional and popular Romagna cuisine. Today, I am a professional sfoglino (pasta maker) for some famous local restaurants, and I enjoy experimenting with the many and varied local ingredients to create the best flavors. I love sharing my passion and my continuous search for excellent local raw materials with my friends and everyone who wants to experience the surprising sensations of Romagna cuisine. For this reason, I decided to open the doors of my home to the guests of Cesarine, confirming the hospitality of our territory, Romagna!
