In this culinary course, you will discover the art of traditional cooking with a focus on regional delicacies. You will learn how to prepare Bruschetta, Piada (bread from Romagna), Strozzapreti (pasta with water and flour) and Tiramisu. The Piada will be enjoyed with local cured meats and cheeses, the Strozzapreti with a ragu cooked slowly for 4 hours. You will also learn how to pasteurize eggs for Tiramisu. The course takes place in my house with a beautiful garden, where you can relax with local wine. We will prepare dishes together and you will taste them, followed by an aperitif with Prosecco and appetizers. An authentic and cozy culinary experience that will immerse you in the flavors of my region.

A really warm welcome from Patti and her husband. While we made tortellini, pasta and tiramisu you get a nice glass of prosseco and some bites in between (traditional Italian), the house is very need and the garden is super! After dinner I also got a homemade limoncello! It was a lovely evening that I can certainly reccomend!

Patti’s class was incredible! I highly recommend booking if you are in the area and would love to take the skills home from your holiday to recreate some of the dishes in Italy! Or even just for a beautiful morning activity while you are near. The food was beautiful, the space felt storybook like it was so gorgeous and Patti and her family make you feel so comfortable. The highlight of our stay in Italy! Patrizia and her husband are so kind and welcoming; it was a pleasure from start to finish. We made Ravioli, Piadine and Tiramisu (p.s. Patrizia is a finalist for in the best Tiramisu in Italy!) and then ate everything together in their lovely garden, under the olive tree. Everything was explained clearly and the setting was beautiful and relaxing. Patrizia’s husband even drove us back into the town centre afterwards :) we would highly recommend booking if you’re considering a cooking class. Grazie mille Patrizia!
