Giulia

The love for cooking started as a girl with desserts and then gradually growing up and creating a large family it came to me to have fun cooking not only out of need but also out of passion; tradition and the union of food , family and friends sitting at a table, has always made me feel the warmth and joy of living. I have often lived far from my Rome but I have always continued to prepare the dishes of our tradition to feel at home. With a mother from the Marche region , a Neapolitan dad, and a Sicilian husband you can't help but love Italian cuisine in general. Now the children have grown up and become even more demanding and critical, and this stimulates me more and more to improve. In the kitchen I find my dimension as in hospitality in general. Welcome is whoever enters my house.

This is the most lovely way to take a cooking class. Giulia is a wonderfully gracious hostess. "Our" food was delicious. So fun to cook together! It felt like visiting with Italian family.

If you are visiting Rome, Italy, whether for a cruise or as a tourist, and want an incredible experience that could easily become the highlight of your entire trip, we highly recommend booking with Giulia on Cesarine. We were in Italy for our honeymoon cruise, and one of the top things we wanted to do was take a cooking class and experience authentic Italian cuisine. We looked at several options, including cruise excursions, but ultimately chose Giulia on Cesarine, and we could not be happier that we did. We had never used the Cesarine platform before, but we were pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to book the experience. What surprised us most, though, was just how wonderful Giulia and her family were. We truly mean it when we say this experience was the highlight of our trip. They treated us like family, went above and beyond to make our day special, and taught us how to prepare amazing food on top of it all. If you are looking to learn how to make authentic Italian cuisine from one of the warmest, friendliest families in Italy, we highly recommend Giulia. She and her family are the best!

We spent 3 wonderful hours with Giulia and her daughter at their beautiful home, learning how to make pasta, chatting and afterwards had a nice relaxed lunch. Giulia taught us how to prepare Pasta Fagioli soup, bruschetta, and we all (including our 2 teenager boys) made handmade pasta from scratch. In addition to the foods we prepared, we had wine and some sliced meats, as well as some fresh veggies. She offered us coffee and refreshing drinks as soon as we arrived. Overall, a great experience with a lovely hostess!

After a short fiasco where our original dinner was cancelled, we were rescheduled with Guilia. We couldn’t have been happier with the outcome! She welcomed my wife and I into her own home and treated us as guests. Not only was she accommodating, but her family were as kind and genuine as her. We are so glad to have had the experience and look forward to taking what we learned home to our own families.

I had a fantastic experience learning from Giulia about Italian cuisine, with very little former experience she took me step by step including all the little tricks (and not being shy with the Pecorino!), Giulia abd her family's hospitality was great and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommended!
