Vis une expérience authentique au cœur de la campagne lucquoise, dans une villa typique entourée de verdure, avec jardin, gazebo et oliveraie. Tu apprendras à cuisiner trois grands classiques de la cuisine italienne : des bruschette avec du pain maison, de l'huile d'olive extra vierge de notre production et des légumes de saison de mon potager ; des lasagnes selon la recette familiale, étape par étape, de la pâte à la béchamel et à la sauce bolognaise (également en version végétarienne) et le dessert à la cuillère le plus apprécié, le tiramisù. Je te donnerai toutes les recettes et de précieux conseils de cuisine. Une expérience parfaite pour ceux qui veulent allier saveurs, tradition et nature dans une ambiance chaleureuse et familiale.

My wife and I, along with another couple traveling with us, had the absolute pleasure of spending an evening with Alberto and Rosanna in their beautiful home in Lucca—and without question, it was the highlight of our entire trip to Italy. During the week, we visited Pisa, Florence, Lucca, and stayed in Calamecca. Each place was incredible in its own way, but nothing compared to the warmth, joy, and authenticity of this cooking experience. From the moment we walked in, Alberto and Rosanna made us feel as though we were longtime friends being welcomed to their table. Their friendliness and hospitality were unmatched. We shared wonderful conversations about family, travel, Italian and American culture, and of course—great food. Watching them cook together was a joy, and learning from them felt effortless and genuine. We left not only with delicious recipes that we can’t wait to recreate at home, but with memories we will treasure forever. More than just a cooking class, this was an experience filled with connection, laughter, and heart. Alberto and Rosanna now hold a special place in our hearts, and we are so grateful for the time we shared. If you are anywhere near Lucca—or even if you’re not—this is an experience worth planning your trip around.

We learned to make pasta/meat sauce, several Italian dips and tiramisu in a friendly and homey environment at Rosanna's. It was delicious and the four of us felt extremely welcome. She was very knowledgeable about how not to cross contaminate my gluten free needs and I appreciated the extra work she had to do...thank you, Rosanna. It was a wonderful evening and I would heartily recommend her class to visitors!!!

Last night, I had incredible evening at Rosanna’s house. I arrived a little early as I was unsure about traffic. She said that was no problem and we started early. Her home is beautiful and well equipped for groups of all sizes. All of the cooking ingredients and equipment was ready and well organized. I was amazed at her knowledge and skill level. I asked a lot of questions about the ingredients and how they impacted the flavour profile. She answered all of them in a warm manner. I met her family shared what we had cooked together. We had appetizers, truly amazing lasagna and mouth watering tiramisu. A meal at Rosanna’s house is a hidden treasure. Cesarine are lucky to have her on the team. A cooking class with Rosanna is an absolute must to item in Lucca!

Je privilégie les plats simples, préparés avec peu d'ingrédients authentiques et de saison, souvent récoltés directement dans mon potager et mon verger. J'aime mettre en valeur les saveurs authentiques de la terre, assaisonnées avec l'huile d'olive extra vierge que nous produisons en famille. Ma cuisine est typiquement toscane, mais j'aime aussi expérimenter : je crée des plats originaux que je note soigneusement dans mon livre de recettes personnel, né avec le temps et beaucoup de passion.
