Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina
- Traditional fried meatballs or aubergine mini-pizzas
- Handmade fresh pasta made from durum wheat semolina: orecchiette or cavatelli
- Mum’s tiramisu
Opening the doors of my home brings me particular joy. I look forward to welcoming you as friends and sharing with you the flavours and traditions of my family and this region.
Together we’ll prepare a small starter – fried meatballs just like my mum used to make, or delicious aubergine mini-pizzas – before getting our hands dirty and making fresh pasta, strictly using durum wheat semolina, such as orecchiette or cavatelli. We’ll finish on a sweet note with my mum’s tiramisu, a recipe close to my heart that has already won over many guests, some of whom have told me they’ve never tasted one quite as good! We’ll cook using fresh, local ingredients, carefully selected from small local traders, because I believe that cooking is also a way of supporting our community.

- We had an amazing cooking class / experience. I am so glad I did not chose one of those large classes inside some building. This class felt more like visiting old friends. Warm and kind. We learned more than what I signed up for. Highly recommend a class with Filomena (Cesarine). Would love to do it again and again.
- Excellent!
- Filomena and Antonella were amazing. Not only was Filomena a fabulous host and teacher she welcomed us into her home and made us feel right at home. her daughter was a gem! The instruction and the 3 course meal we prepared was excellent. I cannot wait to get home and make it all over again. Teaching us to make three pastas exceeded our expectations as well. Great Pulia experience, Bravo! 🇮🇹

Filomena was a gracious host! She welcomed us in her home like we were family! Showed us how to make several different pasta's, Egglant appetizer and Tiramisu. We sat at her beautiful outdoor patio and enjoyed a delicious home made pasta, with sausage and mushrooms. It was sooooo good! Can't wait to make it when I go home. Her daughter Antonella was adorable and loved hearing how the young adults live in. Puglia. I would recommend this cooking class to anyone! Ciao! -
