Private Experience
Your experience

Nestled in the Valdorcian countryside is a small farm that produces aglione, a very large garlic with a delicate flavor that can reach up to 400g in weight. We'll tour the fields where it's grown together to learn about this vegetable's harvest and its properties and uses. Afterwards, you're invited to my home, where we'll prepare a menu featuring aglione! For starters, we'll make crostinis topped with a delicate and tasty milk-based aglione cream (oat milk for vegans). As a main, we'll prepare capunti (a fresh pasta typical of my Puglia) dressed with an exquisite aglione pesto. And aglione will even make an appearance in our dessert! I'll serve a chocolate cake flavored with this versatile vegetable.

What an amazing experience with Anna and her English translator Diba. Held in Anna's beautiful home she made us feel like family. My husband does not like liver and loved the liver on the crostini so much that he wanted the recipe. Everything was mouth-watering delicious. We would do this all over again. Thank you!

Our time with Anna and Laura (translator) was so special. Anna was an amazing chef and a great instructor. The food was incredible, something you can’t have anywhere else. We enjoyed our experience and talked for hours. This was a once in a lifetime experience and would 100% recommend this to anyone coming to the area.
