We will celebrate a special occasion amid the gentle hills of Siena, specifically in the Val d’Orcia, a UNESCO World Heritage site. In my townhouse, reminiscent of a traditional Tuscan farmhouse and wrapped in a warm, family-like atmosphere, we will prepare a dessert that originates from this valley and the Val di Chiana: the Torta Chianciano, a symbol of Chianciano Terme.
Its buttery shortcrust exterior encloses layers of soft sponge cake, soaked in local almond liqueur and filled with creamy custard. To make the experience even more indulgent, we will also prepare a chocolate liqueur to serve alongside this delicious dessert.

- We had a wonderful evening with Anna and her daughter Maria in their lovely home, learning how to make Pappa al Pomodoro, Gnudi and a beautiful Torta della Nonna. Each of the five of us participated in the cooking process which was followed by a fabulous meal, enjoying the fruits of our labor as well as the company of Anna and Maria over a glass of wine! It was a wonderful evening and we highly recommend it to all those looking for a unique Tuscan experience!
- What an amazing experience with Anna and her English translator Diba. Held in Anna's beautiful home she made us feel like family. My husband does not like liver and loved the liver on the crostini so much that he wanted the recipe. Everything was mouth-watering delicious. We would do this all over again. Thank you!
- Our time with Anna and Laura (translator) was so special. Anna was an amazing chef and a great instructor. The food was incredible, something you can’t have anywhere else. We enjoyed our experience and talked for hours. This was a once in a lifetime experience and would 100% recommend this to anyone coming to the area.
- We thoroughly enjoyed our evening with Anna. She made us all feel very welcomed in her home. The authentic Tuscan meal we prepared from scratch was absolutely delicious. Appetizer of Bruschetta, Pici with meat sauce and the amazing tiramisu. I need that recipe! Thanks, Anna!
