In the heart of Val d'Orcia, in a typical Tuscan house surrounded by nature, we will guide you to discover traditional cuisine and Sunday dishes handed down through generations. With organic and zero-mile ingredients, you will experience an authentic country atmosphere, savoring true flavors accompanied by excellent local wine. Together we will prepare hand-pulled pici with aglione sauce, pappa al pomodoro and, for dessert, a homemade tart with jam. Step by step, we will cook and enjoy each course together.

Alice — first, what a lovely home! You were so friendly and welcoming. This was our first time in Italy, and having a cooking class for a local meal was a lot of fun. You were a great teacher, we had some laughs, and we will try to make the pasta on our own and hope to make you proud!! Can’t wait to get the recipes! We had a great time. Alice e Azzurra sono toscane e hanno fatto della cucina di famiglia la loro più grande passione. Con amore e semplicità portano in tavola i piatti della tradizione contadina, tramandati di generazione in generazione e preparati con ingredienti genuini del territorio. Nelle loro esperienze si parte dalla pasta fatta a mano – pici, tagliatelle e tante altre sfoglie rustiche – per poi scoprire i sapori più autentici della Toscana: crostini neri, bruschette con olio nuovo, pappa al pomodoro, panzanella, cipollato, fino ai piatti di carne come il cinghiale in umido, la scottiglia, le chiocciole, la trippa e naturalmente la bistecca alla fiorentina alla brace. Non mancano i dolci casalinghi, che chiudono ogni esperienza con un tocco di dolcezza.
