Welcome to my cozy tavern, nestled at the foot of the picturesque Monte Amiata, just a short distance from the beautiful Val d'Orcia and Siena. This enchanting spot offers a magical and intimate atmosphere, perfect for a full immersion in Tuscan tradition.

Join my cooking class and discover the art of preparing three traditional Tuscan dishes. We’ll start with traditional crostini, made with fresh, local ingredients. Next, we'll prepare pici, a typical fresh pasta from the region, followed by the irresistible dessert: a tiramisù that will add a sweet touch to our experience.

It will be a culinary adventure celebrating the authentic flavors of Tuscany and the art of home cooking, all in a unique and relaxing setting. I look forward to seeing you!

What a lovely way to spend a relaxing Sunday afternoon in Tuscany. Silvia and her husband Marco opened their lovely home to us and taught us how to make pici and tiramisu. We were also able to try some local, homemade jams and digestivi. Neighbors were also on hand to help translate. What a great example of Tuscan hospitality. It very special to be welcomed into someone home. I would highly recommend the experience to anyone.

Silvia was amazing! Her pasta and tiramisu recipes tasted great, and we had a fantastic time. We were a little late due to confusion through a third-party booking app (DON’T USE GET YOUR GUIDE), but Silvia was gracious enough to wait for us to start. Her friend Jennifer was a great translator, and Connie helped with photos and fun vibes! The local wine and charcuterie board, plus her homemade Cedro jam were excellent. We would definitely book with Silvia again, and will tell our friends to book with her :) We can’t wait to share photos from home when we try these recipes in the US. Grazie Mille per tutti!!

Our host family was gracious and so kind. Unfortunately her translator had a last minute emergency and could not attend. Our host/chef spoke very little English so instructions were difficult. Her next door neighbor, who spoke some English came over to assist. Everyone was so gracious and tried their best to communicate. In the end it was a delightful experience to be in the home of a wonderful Italian family.

A wonderful experience cooking with Sylvia! We laughed together and learned to make chocolate mousse and pasta with the assistance of Lulu as our translator. Sylvia's husband Marco joined us for dinner and we enjoyed Moscato with our mousse and Sylvia's homemade limoncello to cap off the night. Wonderful people, warm and inviting. A truly beautiful experience!

We had such a great cooking experience with Silvia! We had 2 kids with us and she was so patient in teaching them. It was one of our favorite experiences of the trip! We felt like family with her!

My cuisine is a blend of creativity and tradition. I prefer using locally sourced ingredients from trusted small-scale producers. This approach allows me to add an innovative touch to traditional dishes while maintaining a deep connection with the local culinary heritage and supporting sustainable practices within the community.
