Cooking class: learn how to cook traditional & innovative Italian recipes from a local Cesarina

Shared Experience
Your experience

Hands in the dough, the scent of yeast wafting as you knead: an experience that tunes heart and mind. In this cooking class we will travel among the authentic flavors of Italy, starting in Tuscany with schiaccia, a white focaccia seasoned before baking with extra virgin olive oil, rosemary and coarse salt. Then we'll fly to Puglia to discover the calzone di sponsali, a closed focaccia with a rich filling of fresh spring onions or leeks, olives and a touch of tomato puree. Perfect for vegetarians and vegans, it can be enriched with mortadella for those who prefer a more traditional variation.

What an amazing experience with Anna and her English translator Diba. Held in Anna's beautiful home she made us feel like family. My husband does not like liver and loved the liver on the crostini so much that he wanted the recipe. Everything was mouth-watering delicious. We would do this all over again. Thank you!

Our time with Anna and Laura (translator) was so special. Anna was an amazing chef and a great instructor. The food was incredible, something you can’t have anywhere else. We enjoyed our experience and talked for hours. This was a once in a lifetime experience and would 100% recommend this to anyone coming to the area.
