Cooking lesson: learn how to cook Italian recipes with a local Cesarina
An evening to learn the secrets of pizza dough and its baking.
The evening will take place in the garden where Alvaro has built his corner Wood-fired oven and barbecue. The breathtaking view of Siena and a craft beer from the nearby La Stecciaia company will do the rest. The menu will include as appetizer a tasting of ciaccini with pecorino, sausage, pachino or simply rock salt and rosemary. Next will be a margherita pizza tasting where each guest will provide their own pizza spread. To finish sweet pizza with sugar and hazelnut cream. The experience is only possible on serene summer evenings.

- Our pasta and tiramisu experience outside of Siena was out of this world! Our hosts were amazing and did their utmost to make us feel at home and spent so much time imparting their knowledge about the food. It was a fun hands-on experience and very connecting. It was truly the highlight of our 2 week vacation and I would recommend this experience to anybody who is considering it. Truly memorable!

- We were fortunate enough to spend the evening cooking with Alvaro and his family in their home in Rapolano Terme (https://cesarine.com/en/h/alvarof-rapolano-terme). This was a truly special experience and one that we will never forget. The location being their family home made the experience truly special, we were greeted and welcome with home made cheese and local antipasti’s. The experience involved making a tiramisu and two pasta varieties, Alvaro and his family were very good teachers, very friendly and very funny throughout. Once all the food had been prepared we ate at their dinner table and enjoyed some very good food, great stories, good wine and great home made desert wine. It was an experience that I can’t recommend enough and I am so glad we got to do it! Thank you Alvaro and Family!
