A lesson on fresh pasta typical of the area, with authentic recipes handed down from my family and the preparation of three distinct types of pasta: orecchiette, sagne torte (also known as ritorte or 'ncannulate') and ravioli. Depending on the season, these delicacies will be accompanied by sauces, sauces and fresh vegetables, creating a delicious and wholesome final dish. It will be an experience not only culinary, but also fun and relaxing, a time of sharing and warmth as among old friends, immersing ourselves in the authentic flavors of Salento.

My name is Francesca and I am a proud mother of three girls, to whom I lovingly dedicate everything I prepare in the kitchen. I await you at my home to share traditions with you.

Francesca provided a true Italian experience via her hospitality! The class was great; Francesca is a wonderful teacher. The pasta came out perfectly and it tasted even better. I will take what I learned today and use that information back home. I would definitely tell others who are looking for an authentic experience about Francesca!

This was the BEST experience! My partner and I spoke only English and tried our best at Italian which Francesca helped us with. She is very kind and an excellent host! We talked a lot about pasta and tradition in Italy which was helpful for us since we just arrived the day before. We even had the opportunity to have lunch with her family and learned more about the differences in Italy and U.S. culture. This was definitely the best thing we could have done coming to Lecce. The experience was authentic and better than any tour we could have booked since we were able to ask all of the questions we were curious to know about outside of the structure of Lecce. I HIGHLY recommend booking an experience with Francesca. I felt so welcomed and a part of the family. They even appreciated our effort at speaking Italian, even though it was limited. I loved everything about this experience and I know you will too :)

Incredible evening that FLEW BY! We left with our bellies full and hearts so happy from our experience with Francesca. Such an authentic experience with a lovely person, we both felt so welcome in her home and had such a great time making our pasta. Francesca was a true professional and we can’t recommend this experience enough - both of us agree this was the best tiramisu of our entire trip.

What a lovely experience with Francesca and her family! We learned how to make oricchiette, with which we made brochette con come di rapa, a traditional Lecce dish. Our morning began with a sampling of Francesca’s amazing focaccia and coffee, and our day was topped off with an amazing fig tart. We spent much time talking about Leccese traditions, with family being the center of what’s important. Francesca is an amazing hostess, we definitely felt like friends in her home. Her teaching skills showed great patience with some clumsy attempts at making the pasta, which finally became acceptable, if very slow in comparison to Francesca’s deft ability! We highly recommend her classes, and look forward to another when we return to Lecce.
