Piera was an absolute delight and explained everything clearly and with pride of the region. We bought all the ingredients at a local market, then went back to her home to create a lunchtime feast plus some prosecco and a family made rosso vino. It was all delicious and we have a new skill - fresh made orriechette!!!

Great experience on our 21st wedding anniversary!!! Pierangela and her husband welcomed us into their lovely home with great cooking techniques, good chat, and beautiful flavours, proving that cooking from scratch can be pleasant, relaxing, and finally delicious. It's difficult to say what we loved the most; the bruschetta was AMAZING, the calzone a happy surprise, and we were proud of eating the orecchiette made by us. Oh, wait, the creamy and light tiramisu was the cherry on top. We happily recommend this cooking class and flavoursome experience. Thank you.

Pierangela and her husband met us at the market and we purchased ingredients for our lunch- a visit to the bakery, a few different greengrocers and cheese factory and shop. Then we went back to her house where we made Orecchiette and Tiramisu plus tried the cheeses and salami and fruits and bread we had purchased. We are so appreciative of how we were welcomed into her home and family. We learnt so many new things that we will take with us back to Australia. An easy 5* rating.

Pierangela and her husband were the perfect hosts ♥️♥️. They opened their home to us and showed us how to prepare perfect traditional pastas and tiramisu. The food was from the soul, very delicate and tasty. They offered us as starter a delicious bruschetta, Prosecco, wine made by the father of her husband and limoncello. We had then the orecchiette and calzone that we prepared from scratch with a wonderful sauce. To close our food experience we had a perfect tiramisu, It was remarkable! We definitely recommend this experience to everyone coming to Puglia. ♥️♥️

We just had one of the most wonderful cooking experiences!! Pierangela was a welcoming friendly hands on teacher. She opened her home with kindness and sincerity. She taught us how to make the best calzone and orichette that we have ever had. To top it off, she taught us how to make tiramisu which was the perfect ending for a perfect meal . We would highly recommend her to anyone who would like to have a genuine cooking experience.

Hello, my name is Pierangela, and cooking for others is one of the things that brings me the most joy. Since I was a child, I've wanted to experiment with the traditional recipes of my hometown. I was born in Gravina in Puglia, a town on the border between Puglia and Basilicata, boasting an incredibly rich culinary tradition. It's precisely this richness that drives me to cook: so many recipes, so many flavors, unique and unmistakable, exclusively ours. Panzerotti, focaccia barese, Pan cotto alla gravinese, U' ruccl (typical San Giuseppe focaccia), sweet ricotta calzones with pork ragu, orecchiette al tegamino, cavatelli, baked finocchietti, cartellate, and much more—these are the typical flavors of my homeland. For the past 12 years, I have been living in Lecce, in the wonderful and spectacular Salento, and from the beginning, I started to savor and create dishes typical of the Salento tradition, including the famous Pezzetti di cavallo, Ciceri e tria, Pittule, Pizzo, Frise, and the unmissable pasticciotto.
