I will welcome you to my 1913 villa in Messina and you can enjoy the spectacular scenery on the Strait of Messina, I welcome you with a unique gastronomic experience. The antipasto prepared with the best seasonal vegetables that will immerse you in the Mediterranean atmosphere. We will prepare homemade pasta, such as cavatelli or tagliatelle with seasonally based seasoning, with ricotta or alla norma. Finally, the quintessential Sicilian dessert, cannolo con ricotta.

- I honestly had high hopes for a great experience and they were met and superseded my already high expectations. Maria Daniella was incredibly friendly, competent, delicious food etc etc etc. The home was super beautiful very accessible and clean. The views were spectacular. So not only was it delicious food that we got to make mostly ourselves but we ate on her covered balcony and over looked Sicily. The entire family was so pleased and well worth it.
- Daniela is a wonderful hostess and ambassador for Messina. We had such a nice morning in the beautiful town of Messina. We enjoyed our time tasting specialties of the area and seeing the sites. Daniela is a lovely guide. We enjoyed her company and learning about the beautiful place she calls home.

- You cannot say you've been to Messina if you haven't been in Daniela's Kitchen. I've done several food tours around the World, but I have to say this experience was OUTSTANDING! Daniela brings you to one of the city markets where you can meet locals in their daily activities, taste local foods and experience what the real Messinese life looks like. You decide the menu, and what you are going to eat, with her while at the market, based on what the market has to offer that day. You'll go back to her house and cook your meal from start to end. You will enjoy your incredible meal with one of the best views of Messina, Daniela's terrace! GRAZIE DANIELA! Sei la migliore!!

But, to really get to know this city it is also a must to taste its typical dishes. So, you must therefore know the flavors and aromas typical of this part of Sicily and, the best place is at the home of our Cesarina. Maria Daniela loves the sea, and from the garden of her 1913 villa you can look out and enjoy the spectacular scenery of the Strait of Messina. Together with her, you can learn how to make "maccheroncini al ferro" - the traditional fresh pasta that is seasons with the sauce -, and the Messina-style veal cutlets, which she learned to fill and roll since she was a child to help her mother and sisters in the kitchen.
