- Catia, and her daughter, Laura were superb hosts. Theu were very patient with us as we couldn't get a taxi or bus. Although the market didn't have many vendors that day, they made sure we had a special experience walking us around the Ducal Palace and enjoying a cafe and some traditional cookies. We stopped by a local store to get fresh ricotta. That was really interesting. Then back to Catia's where she expertly guided us to make tagliatelle d'erbet and tirimusu. Her husband also joined and showed us a full parma ham. We learned so much and ate even more. A truly wonderful and memorable experience with fun and friendly folks.
- We are so grateful for a wonderful experience with Catia. Our family learned how to make two types of Tortelli...we heard family stories...our teenage daughters were encouraged...and our meal was delicious. Catia was an excellent teacher and host. I highly recommend this experience!

- A highlight of my first trip to Italy was at a cooking class with daughter and I. We spent the day with Catia and her husband. We were invited to her beautiful home and treated very graciously. We started off visiting local shops for food and espresso. They made us feel very welcomed and talked of the family history living in Parma. After appetizers of delicious meats and cheeses we began cooking Tortelli D'erbetta, cookies and tiramisu. It was a memorable experience of a day in the life of a local couple. We left with recipes, a full stomach and new friends that we intend to visit on our next trip! Thank you! Love Melanie and Theresa.
