Making traditional Apulian pasta

Discover the cuisine and history of Puglia with a guided walk and a fresh pasta workshop in the Monopoli Rural Park. The tour takes you through the rock-cut village, the necropolis, the Chiesetta Minore, the Fortified Tower of Spina Piccola with its internal citrus grove, the ancient underground oil mill and the dye house. Admire the façade of Masseria Spina Grande, the imposing building with its characteristic red colour, and the Baroque Church of the Immaculate Conception, whilst letting yourself be captivated by the landscape, history and traditions of the farmstead. The experience concludes with a pasta-making workshop, where you’ll learn to create the typical shapes of the Apulian tradition using ingredients provided and under the guidance of an expert.
