Welcome to the heart of Monopoli's historic center, in a charming former 19th-century monastery. We will begin our cooking class with fragrant bruschetta made with rustic bread, dressed with extra virgin olive oil, cherry tomatoes, arugula and oregano. In a convivial kitchen we will prepare together handmade orecchiette pasta, topped with a ragout of chops slow cooked for 4 hours. All will be accompanied by a glass of Primitivo di Manduria, an intense red wine perfect with the meat. We will end with the king of Italian desserts: tiramisu, creamy and irresistible. An experience of taste, history and creativity in a house that tells the story of the South with elegance and passion.

A wonderful and unique experience with Marilena in her artist loft in Monopoli. She is a charming host and a superb cook. Our evening with her, enjoying music, drinking wine and making pasta together was both memorable and educational. Highly recommended!

Marilena welcomed us to her home with warmth and infectious smile. The antipasto she served was so good. She was patient and guided us thoroughly with making the pasta. Her homemade sauce along with the pasta we made together was chefs kiss. The dessert was amazing. I highly recommend this class and would do it all over again.
