Enjoy an authentic experience discovering the street food of La Spezia and the Lunigiana, a journey through the aromas, stories and specialities of the region. As we stroll through the city’s streets, we’ll sample some of the region’s finest specialities: crispy, golden Ligurian farinata; Ligurian focaccia; sgabei from Lunigiana; the tasty Lunigiana mortadella; cannolicchio with cream; and delicious artisan gelato. It will be a culinary journey between the sea and the mountains, discovering ancient traditions, local shops and products that tell the story of our region. - Caterina and her husband are absolutely lovely people. They welcomed us in their home and started off the experience with a wonderful appetizer spread. We then moved on to making the food starting with a delicious tiramisu, ravioli, pasta and served with delicious wine. Caterina’s husband is a wonderful translator and Caterina is incredibly talented and patient. I would HIGHLY recommend this as a tour option to consider.
