My cooking is born from a deep love for the sea and its traditions, nurtured since childhood through fishing. Over the years, I’ve refined my techniques with professional courses and by discovering the recipes of coastal villages.I love preparing dishes that tell a story and celebrate togetherness, like big seafood feasts or creative twists on traditional Sicilian cuisine.For my guests, I aim to offer a journey through the flavors of the sea, using seasonal ingredients, fresh herbs from my garden, and a warm, authentic welcome.Sharing this passion is my greatest joy.

: Marcello and Alphonsa were fantastic. We went on a quick tour of Capo Market then drove to their home- it was beautiful garden with a gorgeous view over Palermo. We cooked panelle and baked anelletti and had cannoli for dessert and it was one the best meals I had while in Sicily. I highly recommend this experience!
: **One of the Most Memorable Experiences of Our Sicily Trip** Our evening with Marcello was so much more than dinner. It was one of those experiences that makes you feel like you actually got to know Sicily rather than simply visit it. We were traveling as a family, and Marcello welcomed all of us into his beautiful home with incredible warmth and generosity. From the moment we arrived, we felt less like customers and more like guests of the family. The food was outstanding—authentic Sicilian cooking, thoughtfully prepared and shared in a setting that was absolutely beautiful. But as good as the food and wine were, what we will remember most is the hospitality. Marcello created an evening where we could slow down, eat, drink, talk, laugh, and simply enjoy being together as a family. For us, that made the experience especially meaningful. Sicily has deep family roots for us, and sharing a meal in a Sicilian home gave the evening a connection and authenticity that no restaurant could have provided. Marcello is a wonderful host, a talented cook, and someone who clearly takes great pride in sharing his home, food, and Sicilian culture with others. If you are visiting Palermo and want an experience that goes beyond sightseeing and restaurants, spend an evening with Marcello. : Marcello and his family were incredibly warm and welcoming—they made us feel like part of the family from the moment we arrived. Their home is beautiful, with the most stunning views over the city. Although it’s about 20 minutes outside the centre, it feels like a peaceful oasis and offers a wonderful perspective of the city. The food and wine were absolutely incredible, and the entire experience was the highlight of our trip. We couldn’t recommend it more highly and would return in a heartbeat. Ten out of ten!
