- Yesterday with Pina was wonderful. She is marvelous with a lot of energy! It was a pleasure to learn new recipes in a spectacular kitchen. This experience created a strong friendship and we can't wait to see each other again soon! We learned a lot about Sicilian recipes and products, how to prepare dishes in different ways, and how to use/substitute with American products. The experience exceeded our expectations. Well done Cesarine and well done Pina!
- We had a wonderful evening at Pina's apartment cooking together (there were only two of us). Pina is a wonderful host and cook who is happy to share her knowledge. Besides various antipasti (crostini), we made pasta dough and formed it into busiate. Pina had already prepared a delicious sauce with artichokes, guanciale etc. Furthermore, we conjured up a super delicious tiramisu and prepared frittelle di rucola. We were also offered Prosecco and wine. It was a great experience in a beautiful apartment with a magnificent view of Palermo overlooking Monte Pellegrino. We gained new experiences and recipes and ate very well. Pina is a very lovable person. We can recommend the cooking course with Pina without reservation!

Our experience began with the art of crafting the perfect tiramisu, followed by Pina’s treasured cooking secrets, generously shared throughout the class. In Sicily, cooking is not just about food—it’s about family, tradition, and storytelling. We then dove into making two types of homemade pasta from scratch, kneading and shaping the dough for two exquisite dishes—one with a rich tomato-based sauce and the other with fresh, fragrant pesto. Pina kept us engaged every step of the way, guiding us through the chopping, mixing, and kneading while weaving in lively anecdotes about Sicilian history and cuisine. As we sat down for dinner, we were treated to an incredible spread of appetizers—cheeses, cured meats, frittatas, and homemade spreads, each bursting with flavor. Then came our homemade pasta dishes, embodying the true taste of Sicily. And to finish, our beautifully layered tiramisu—a sweet finale to an unforgettable culinary journey. This experience was truly one for the books! Having taken several cooking classes, we can confidently say that Pina’s class is at the very top of our list. - Incredible! Pina is so warm, kind, and stylish and she is eager to share her expertise. Her apartment is extremely beautiful. A great way to get to know Palermo better and get deep knowledge of Sicilian cooking. We could have spent all day with Pina! Highly recommend. Be sure to message her in advance with requests.
