Una velada para descubrir los secretos de la masa de la pizza y su cocción. La velada tendrá lugar en el jardín, donde Álvaro ha construido su rincón con horno de leña y barbacoa. Las impresionantes vistas de Siena y una cerveza artesanal de la cercana empresa La Stecciaia harán el resto.

El menú incluirá como entrante una degustación de ciaccini con queso pecorino, salchicha, tomates cherry o simplemente sal gruesa y romero. A continuación, se degustará la pizza margarita, que cada invitado amasará tú mismo. Para terminar, pizza dulce con azúcar y crema de avellanas. La experiencia solo es posible en las tranquilas noches de verano.

Under Alvaro’s expert guidance, we explored the art of preparing the perfect aperitivo—an elegant and joyful tradition that celebrates good company, local flavors, and relaxed conversation. Together, we created a selection of five refined nibbles, each one a delicious tribute to the region’s ingredients and culinary heritage. From delicate crostini topped with creamy cheeses and herbs, to savory bites infused with citrus and olive oil, every element was thoughtfully paired with a refreshing glass of fizz—Prosecco, of course—or a light, local red wine. What made this experience truly unforgettable was the warmth and generosity of Alvaro’s family. Their stories, laughter, and passion for food made the evening feel like a gathering of old friends. Our pasta and tiramisu experience outside of Siena was out of this world! Our hosts were amazing and did their utmost to make us feel at home and spent so much time imparting their knowledge about the food. It was a fun hands-on experience and very connecting. It was truly the highlight of our 2 week vacation and I would recommend this experience to anybody who is considering it. Truly memorable!

Nuestro Cesarino Alvaro tiene una historia rica y original: a los 14 años se mudó a Siena para trabajar como cocinero, a los 18 abrió su propio restaurante y a los 22 la vida le deparó un camino diferente. Se convirtió en alcalde de Rapolano T., luego abrió una empresa y, ahora que está jubilado, puede volver a su primer amor, la cocina. «Me gusta hablar de la historia de mi pueblo y de mi cocina. Todo el mundo se queda asombrado ante los tesoros ocultos de esta tierra, tanto desde el punto de vista histórico como culinario».
