    We recompose the heated and amusing semantic dispute between Arancina and Arancino, of the cities of Palermo and Catania, by proposing a typical menu from both cities, imagining that we have found the solution.

    Delight in the Palermo-style eggplant parmigiana with caciocavallo cheese from Godrano, which owes its delicacy to the milk of the black cow called Cinisara (Cinisi) let's continue with a first course of spaghetti chi masculini e finocchiettu rizzo, spaghetti with anchovies and wild fennel, typical of the Catania tradition; and on the dispute of dishes between Catania and Palermo, let's pour a copious Etna Doc white wine, from a well-known winery on the foot of the volcano.
